• You must be at least 18 years old, or using the Website under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to create an account or make a purchase.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering, and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate an account that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, abusively, or in violation of these Terms.

Ebooks sold on the Website are digital products. When you purchase an ebook, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and read that ebook through your account on the Website, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You do not acquire ownership of the ebook, its text, images or underlying copyright.

You agree that you will not, and will not help anyone else to:

• Copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, rent, lend or publicly share any ebook or part of it.
• Remove, bypass or tamper with any access control associated with an ebook.
• Use any automated means (bots, scrapers or similar tools) to access, download or copy content from the Website.

• All prices on the Website are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed through Razorpay, a third-party, RBI-regulated payment gateway. We do not collect or store your card, UPI or net-banking credentials; these are handled directly by Razorpay under its own security standards.
• An order is confirmed only once payment is successfully authorised and received. If a payment fails or is not completed, the order will not be fulfilled.
• We take reasonable steps to display accurate pricing, but in the rare event of a genuine pricing or listing error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

The Marathi Bana sells digital ebooks only — there are no physical products shipped by us, and no shipping charges apply to any purchase. Once your payment is successfully processed, the ebook is made available instantly in the "My Library" section of your account. If an ebook does not appear in your library within a reasonable time after a successful payment, please contact us using the details below and we will resolve it promptly.

Because ebooks are digital goods delivered instantly upon purchase, once an order is successfully fulfilled and the ebook is accessible in your library, the sale is final and we do not offer refunds or exchanges for a simple change of mind. We will, however, review and provide a refund in the following situations:

• You were charged more than once for the same order (duplicate payment).
• Payment was deducted from your account but the order was not confirmed and the ebook was not added to your library.
• The ebook file you received is genuinely defective or inaccessible, and we are unable to fix the issue within a reasonable time.

To request a refund under any of the above, please write to us at ranjitryadav@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction, with your order details. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Razorpay and typically reflect within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank.

If you subscribe to our newsletter or submit the Contact form, you consent to receive related email communications from us. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link provided in those emails, or by writing to us.

All content on the Website — including videos, articles, blog posts, photographs, ebook text, graphics, the "The Marathi Bana" name and logo, and the overall design of the Website — is the property of The Marathi Bana Private Limited or its licensors, and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. Nothing on the Website may be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without our prior written permission, other than for the limited ebook-reading licence described in Section 2.

The Marathi Bana publishes history, culture and current-affairs content based on original documents, research and on-location work. We make every reasonable effort to be accurate and to honestly distinguish documented history from legend or folklore where the two are commonly blended. That said, historical interpretation can evolve, and our content — on the Website, in our videos, and in our ebooks — is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It should not be treated as the sole or final authority on any historical, legal, financial or professional matter, and we encourage readers to cross-reference important facts independently.

The Website links to and embeds third-party services such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Telegram, WhatsApp and Razorpay. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms.

The Website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Marathi Bana Private Limited, its founder, employees and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Website, your purchase of an ebook, or your reliance on any content published on the Website. Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for that specific order.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Marathi Bana Private Limited and its founder, employees and partners from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Website.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Maharashtra, India.

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our offerings, operations, or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
